St. Ann School Reviews

We left after the school combined the 1st and 2nd grade; the 3rd and 4th grade; the 5 th and 6th grade; and the 7th and 8th grades. I am not paying for an education in a 'one-room' school-house!

We could not be more pleased with Saint Ann School! Both of our children have attended Saint Ann School since Pre-K and we have been thoroughly impressed with the recent changes made to the school over the last two years. The school has been completely refurbished: new paint, carpet, desks, lockers & laptops for middle schoolers. In addition, we are thrilled with the entire faculty, the veterans as well as the new. It is evident that providing a top notch faculty is the school's top priority.

My children left the school after Bob Conroy the principal and his staff were forced out and the quality of the education diminished! It has led to an environment not conducive to learning and Christian attitude!

The technology program at Saint Ann School is as good, if not better than most high school technology programs. Every student in the Middle School has their own laptop computer - these young people are so fortunate to have such a technologically savvy faculty and an administration that will move mountains to give them the very best!

I am pround to say my son attends St.Ann school. The staff is very well qualified and are loving and caring to all the children. The school is full of loving parents.Theres no beating the technology program. My son is flourshing.A+

I strongly disagree that St. Ann School has lowered its standards in regards to teaching credentials. If you choose to look at the teacher profiles on the school website, one would see the high caliber of teachers the school now employs. They are up to date on all new technology to go along with the state of the art technology program in the school. Visit St. Ann School and see for yourself the wonderful job these teachers are doing with the children.

St. Ann's is a wonderful school with an outstanding faculty. Check our website or come and see for yourself.

What a total disappointment for 5 years of schooling. We will be sending our child to public school in sept. Very clicky and unfair treatment of certain students.

My children were not at the same academic level when compared to the students at the new school school we now attend. There have been changes to the principal and faculty that has led to a lower grade of education. The building itself is in disrepair.

St. Ann School has revamped its building, technology program and maintained a well-qualified, energetic and certified staff. St. Ann's is alive and strong and offers its student the opportunity to thrive in both their spiritual and academic lives. The families of our students are caring, kind and actively involved in the everyday activities of the school. There is no apathy here - quite the contrary!

We are very happy at St. Ann and so are our children. The school employs an excellent staff and all have professional credentials. We have an excellent technology program no other local Catholic school has and we have a wonderful music teacher who has a performance background but is also certified to teach general music.

This school hase been rennovated and revamped. Top notch teachers, state of the art facilities, and a warm, close-knit community. Unfortunately, teh improvements to the school have left some former members of the school community bitter and resentful.

My child is flourishing at Saint Ann School! The school advertises 'academic integrity, dynamic faculty, exciting technology, updated and meticulously maintained facility, extra-curricular clubs and fabulous feedback from students and parents' - it is all true! The faculty is outstanding - highly educated and certified - young and enthusiastic. Saint Ann even posts their Faculty Bios on their website - not many schools can (or want to!) do that. 8th graders have laptops and all middle school students will have them in September 2007 - my child is excited about coming to school and learning! The Boston University / University of Richmond Technology Partnership is incredible. Students have WebLockers that allow them to work on their projects at home and keep that locker until they graduate. We owe so much to our 'dynamic duo', Principal Carol Schweitzer and Pastor, Father Tom, for making Saint Ann School Milford's premier Catholic elementary school!

Great school!! My three children are doing great; excelling academically and socially. The new clubs this year (chess, book, and bowling) are a lot of fun - but studies always come first. The middle school kids have lockers and the 8th graders, and all teachers, have laptops! The technology program is way ahead of other schools - public or private - and all middle school kids are getting laptops next year. The young, talented staff is lead by a wonderful principal and administration. I hope this was helpful.

We sent our son back to St. Ann's after a grueling half year at another Catholic school closer to our home. He was received with open arms and each teacher stopped by his classroom his first day back to say hello! The genuine warmth and care given to the students is amazing! Because it is so small, they are more like a second family than an institution. The higher grade students are buddied up with the lower grade students, so pretty soon all the students know eachother. And as far as curriculum and quality of education goes, my son scored in the 98% on the IOWAs, a testament to the quality education given to him these past five years at St. Ann's School! We are proud to send our son to such a fine school.
